1. x1, x2 and x10 - easiest anchor tables
2. x5 and x11 - strong number patterns
3. x3 and x4 - build rhythm

45-Minute Daily Routine

1 minute: Read one table aloud with rhythm
2 minutes: Cover the table and recall it
1 minute: Say the table backwards
1 minute: Practise facts in random order

Learn one or two tables at a time
Say facts aloud using a steady rhythm
Use turn-around facts to reduce memorisation
Mark facts that take longer than three seconds
Review after 10 minutes, one day and one week
Practise shuffled facts, not only in sequence

Start with x1, x2, x5 and x10, then use turn-around facts to cut the number of new facts to learn.
